When We Answer and When We Arrive

How fast can you get here?

We move fast once you pick up the phone, with a licensed plumber sent out on-site fast rather than booked in for later in the week. A real person answers day or night, works out what's happening and gets someone moving straight away.

What counts as a plumbing emergency?

If it's actively causing damage, or it's not safe to leave until morning, it counts as an emergency. Burst pipes, no hot water, a stubborn blocked toilet or the smell of gas are the usual reasons people call us. Spreading water or a whiff of gas means treat it as urgent, no matter the hour. Not sure it counts? Call anyway and we'll help you work out how serious it is.

Do you work weekends and public holidays?

Yes, we're on every single day, weekends and public holidays included. Urgent plumbing doesn't wait for a weekday, so we don't either. Whatever day it is, you'll speak to a licensed plumber, not an answering machine.

What happens after I call?

A licensed plumber picks up, asks a handful of questions to understand what's going on, and tells you what's safe to try while you wait. Once we're on-site, we look the job over and agree the cost before any work begins.

The Miranda Side of Things

Do you work on Miranda's apartments and strata blocks?

Yes. Miranda's town centre around Westfield has filled in with apartments and townhouses since the 2000s, alongside the older detached houses on the surrounding streets. We see plenty of builder-grade fittings in newer units that need correcting, alongside the usual jobs in older homes.

What does heavy rain do to Miranda's plumbing?

Sitting up on the Sutherland to Cronulla ridge keeps broad flooding rare, but heavy downpours can still overload stormwater pits and drains on the higher blocks. If your yard or drains are surcharging in a storm, that's worth an urgent call rather than waiting it out.

Why do Miranda's older homes keep us busy?

Plenty of Miranda's houses date from the post-war boom through the 1950s to the 1970s, built in brick and brick veneer. Hot water systems and original gas fittings from that era are well past their best. Mature street trees from the same period send roots into the old clay sewer lines too, a common callout on its own.

Which suburbs do you service?

Alongside Miranda, we cover Caringbah, Gymea, Kirrawee, Sylvania and Gymea Bay. Anywhere on that list, if something's gone wrong at your place, pick up the phone.

Money, Fixed Prices and the $0 Call Out Fee

Is the quote really free?

Yes. There's a $0 Call Out Fee, so having us assess the job and put together a quote costs you nothing.

You only pay once you've seen the fixed price and told us to go ahead.

How do your quotes work?

We inspect the job in person, walk you through what's involved in plain English, and land on one number before anything starts.

That price holds, however long the work takes or whatever turns up once we're underway.

How can I pay?

We keep payment straightforward and talk you through the options when we're on-site. Ask your plumber about what works for you before the job starts.

Do prices change once the job starts?

No, the price we quote is the price you pay. No exceptions.

If something changes the scope of the job, we'll pause and run it past you before doing any extra work, not after.
